K9 Officer Pyro -- Official Fundraiser for the Green Bay Police K9

K9 Officer Pyro was stabbed multiple times while apprehending a suspect. The community is showing support with their prayers and asking how they can help or donate money.

The Green Bay Police Dept. has authorized this official fundraising t-shirt to raise funds for the medical expenses of Officer Pyro as well as the K9 program. At a time like this, it's important we show our support for law enforcement and the sacrifices they make to keep our community safe.

K9 PYRO UPDATE

K9 Pyro returns to work
4/22/2019 - See K9 Pyro return to work in this video! On April 7th K9 Pyro was severely injured and required 4 blood transfusions in the first 12 hours and multiple surgeries. Today he is physically and emotional strong. It is a miracle that he can return to work and do drug sniffing and other duties that do not require a collar, leash or tracking while he continues to heal.

4/17/2019 - K9 Pyro has made amazing progress during the past 10 days. On Friday 4/12/19 he ate solid food for the first time since the attack and over the weekend was able to return home with Officer Salzmann! K9 Pyro is expected to make a full recovery. Thank you for your continued support and prayers - it is making a difference!
K9 Pyro returned home

4/12/2019 - K9 Pyro continues to make great progress! He is on a liquid diet and today K9 Officer Salzmann introduced soft food in his diet. The road to recovery will be a long one -- please continue to keep K9 Pyro in your prayers.

Global Recognition and the community unite to Back The Blue

The men and women who put their lives in danger to protect our communities became the target of violence across America during the summer of 2016.

When a client contacted us about creating a custom t-shirt to show support for their family member in law enforcement, we believed other people in the community would also like to show support for their friends and family in law enforcement as well.

Global Recognition created three Back The Blue designs: flag, police badge, and sheriff's star with the flag design being the most popular. In addition, Global Recognition donated $5 per shirt to local law enforcement.

Men, women and children in our community felt good about showing their support by wearing Back The Blue apparel and knowing that $5 from every shirt was being donated to local law enforcement. Local law enforcement was grateful for the strong show of support in the community and donation. Photos from press conferences, check presentations and a recap of the donations are shown below.
